Good Neighbours Scheme

Need some help? We have up to 16 volunteers who may be able to:

  • Drive you to the doctors or hospitals.
  • Collect prescriptions.
  • Do some shopping.
  • Change a light bulb.
  • Help with pets.
  • Help with Forms and Computers
  • Call in for a chat.
  • Or help in some other way
Transport and collecting prescriptions are charged at .50p per mile.
NO charge for lifts within the village.

All volunteers have been CRB checked and carry identification.

Thanks to Suffolk County Councillor David Woods for providing a grant from his Locality Budget to enable us to proceed and to the Parish Council for providing a grant for insurance costs.
