There are 2 official picnic areas, both in Pin Mill:

On the Pin Mill Common by the river edge (popular spot)

PinMill Common is maintained by Chelmondiston Parish Council

By the Pin Mill Road car park (rarely used)

The Pin Mill Road picnic area is owned by Babergh District Council.
